The path to the certificate
- Training or self-study
- Register for the exam
- Take the exam
- Receive certificate
- Increase your visibility
1. Training or self-study
For optimal preparation for the DDP certification, we recommend attending a training course with one of our recognized training providers. These courses are offered as face-to-face or online training.
Training courses offer practice-oriented knowledge and customized learning content tailored to the examination requirements.
The training lasts 2 to 3 days.
As an alternative and in addition to a training course, you can also prepare for the exam through self-study. You can use our free learning resources to do this:
- Syllabus: Your overview of the content and learning objectives
- Handbook: Your introduction with detailed descriptions and examples
- Glossary: Your directory of core terms and definitions in Digital Design
- Practice exam: Exam simulation and ideal opportunity to test your knowledge
2. Register for the exam
... as part of a training course
If you take part in a training course, the training provider will usually organize the subsequent examination for you—even for online training courses. Just ask.
... after self-study
If you are preparing yourself through self-study, you will find all the relevant information on registering for the exam on the websites of the relevant certification bodies in your country.
By the way
Our high standards of quality and the practical relevance of the content are a matter of course. Flexibility and fairness are also always in focus. If you are a non-native speaker, you can request an extension to the duration of the exam when you register.
3. Take the exam
The exam is conducted and invigilated as a 60-minute multiple-choice exam by one of our certification bodies. The questions refer to the material in the handbook and reflect the weighting of the syllabus.
As already mentioned, participants who are not native speakers can apply for a 15-minute extension to the examination time.
Details on the examination procedure can be found in the examination regulations.
4. Receive certificate
After successfully passing the exam, you will receive your personal DDP certificate. This certificate is a lifelong proof of your competence in Digital Design and is recognized by companies worldwide.
5. Increase your visibility
Register your DDP certificate in the CPRE Registry and let IREB verify its validity. By adding your certification, you’ll gain direct visibility as part of the global IREB community. It’s a great way to showcase your expertise in Digital Design and connect with like-minded professionals.
Take this opportunity to increase your professional presence and make your certification work for you!
